What if I own the Beta product?

If you currently own the beta product (Dino), you are eligible for a free upgrade to Bondu! We’ve sent an email to all Dino families with the steps to get started. If you still need help, just reach out to us at support@bondu.com and we’ll guide you through to make sure a brand new bondu makes its way to you smoothly.

What age group is bondu designed for?

bondu is designed for children ages of 4 to 8, when curiosity, imagination and BIG feelings are growing fast. (Ages below 4 are not generally recommended given the conversational component of the product). Because bondu is powered by AI, it learns and grows alongside your child, making every stage of play fresh and exciting. 

Do I need a subscription to use bondu?

No, a subscription is not required to use bondu. 

But, with the bondu+ subscription you’ll unlock an even richer play experience including: 

  • Unlimited conversation time for non stop fun & adventures 
  • Expanded voice and persona options to spark your child’s imagination & creativity 
  • 37 supported languages to talk, learn & explore 
  • Weekly child development insights to support your child’s growth
  • Ongoing features and updates that keep play evolving
  • Regular toy and app upgrades so bondu stays sharp and up-to-date. 

A 12-month extended warranty for worry-free play.

Does bondu require Wi-Fi?

Yes, bondu requires a stable Wi-Fi connection to chat, play and learn.

Can I see what conversations bondu & my child are having?

Yes, parents have full control over their child’s personal information and chat history in the bondu app. There you will be able to review, manage, or delete your child’s chats, history and/or personal information at any time with ease. 

What security measures are in place to protect my bondu account?

The privacy and security of you and your child’s information are our top priority. We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption and secure authentication to protect your account. Access to any personal data is strictly limited to authorized core team members who need it to support your experience.

Is bondu always listening? How does it know when to respond?

bondu only listens and responds when it’s turned on and in awake mode, so every interaction is intentional. 

  • Sleep Mode: After 5 minutes with no activity, bondu goes into sleep mode. Once asleep, bondu can only be reactivated with a wake word.

Auto Shut-Off: After 10 minutes of inactivity, bondu powers down completely. To play again, simply press the button on the base, to turn it back on.

Are my conversations with bondu stored or shared with anyone?

Conversations are never shared or sold. Data is stored securely to ensure bondu is learning and growing alongside your child.  Through the app, you can review or delete any data at any time.

What is your return policy?

We hope your child falls in love with bondu, but if it isn't a perfect fit, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Contact our support team at support@bondu.com for a prepaid return label. Refunds are processed after receipt and inspection of the returned bondu.
